Convert a PayPal statement to Excel or CSV

PayPal activity reports reach up to the past seven years. Monthly statement PDFs go back two. On-screen activity stops at three. Those three numbers are not the same record.

Tickvouch converts PayPal PDF statements to CSV or Excel in the browser. The file is not uploaded. Every conversion runs a reconciliation check: opening balance plus every transaction must equal the closing balance, shown as PASS or FAIL with the arithmetic.

This is the whole tool, running on this page. The PDF is read on your machine; nothing is uploaded. Turn your internet off and convert anyway. That is the test.

PayPal’s export is strong. Here are its edges

PayPal's activity download is one of the better ones in this set: Activity, then the download icon, then Custom, gives PDF, Quicken, QuickBooks, CSV or TAB. If your job fits it, use it.

The edges are real, though, and they come from PayPal's own reports documentation. A CSV or TAB report caps at 50,000 records. Large history logs take up to five business days and only the last three are kept. A statement PDF includes transaction history only when the range holds 10,000 or fewer transactions. And statements include only transactions that affect your PayPal balance: no pending transactions, uncaptured authorizations, pending eChecks or unresolved disputes.

Then there is the case no export solves. A PayPal PDF a client or marketplace seller sends you is a document, not an account you can log into.

What Tickvouch does with it

Upload the PayPal PDF statement. Tickvouch reads the transaction table and writes a clean CSV or Excel file.

Every conversion is checked: opening balance plus every transaction must equal the closing balance. You see PASS or FAIL, with the arithmetic, before you download. A FAIL is never hidden.

The file never leaves your browser. Turn off your internet and convert anyway: it still works, which is how you check that claim instead of believing it.

Text-based e-statements only. Scanned statements are not supported yet, and Tickvouch says so instead of guessing.
