Convert a TD Canada Trust statement to Excel or CSV

TD gives up to seven years of online statements, counted from the time you switch to electronic delivery. The archive builds forward from your switch date, not from the day you opened the account.

Tickvouch converts TD Canada Trust PDF statements to CSV or Excel in the browser. The file is not uploaded. Every conversion runs a reconciliation check: opening balance plus every transaction must equal the closing balance, shown as PASS or FAIL with the arithmetic.

Get your PDF statement from TD

Log in to EasyWeb, open the Settings & Services menu at the top right, and choose "Statements & Documents". View and download from there.

Where the TD export stops

EasyWeb does export: Quicken, Money, QIF, and Spreadsheet (CSV & CDV). The reach is what hurts. You get the previous 5 months, or slices of up to 31 days within the past 18 months. A TD Visa shows activity since the last statement plus three previous statements.

Then there is the accrual rule, which catches people out. Per TD's own EasyWeb statements page, the seven-year archive starts the day you switched to electronic statements. The years before that are not there at all.

One quirk to know before you assume a month is lost: credit card statements are skipped in months with no activity, and chequing statements are skipped when the balance is over $500 with no transactions. Gaps in your folder may be normal.

What Tickvouch does with it

Upload the TD Canada Trust PDF statement. Tickvouch reads the transaction table and writes a clean CSV or Excel file.

Every conversion is checked: opening balance plus every transaction must equal the closing balance. You see PASS or FAIL, with the arithmetic, before you download. A FAIL is never hidden.

The file never leaves your browser. Turn off your internet and convert anyway: it still works, which is how you check that claim instead of believing it.

Text-based e-statements only. Scanned statements are not supported yet, and Tickvouch says so instead of guessing.

Questions

How far back can I export TD transactions?

The previous 5 months, or 31-day slices within the past 18 months. Online statements go back up to seven years from when you switched to electronic delivery.

Why is a month missing from my TD statements?

TD skips some: credit cards in months with no activity, and chequing accounts with a balance over $500 and no transactions.

Is my statement uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and the file never leaves your machine. Disconnect your internet and convert to prove it.
